Synchronized comparison
Round 07 baseline → elastic shared wall
Geometry only
The untouched Round 07 hero and the aligned rebuild run under one clock.
Round 08 · wall + hairlines
First preserve every Round 07 color and timing decision while correcting only the angle-by-angle outer wall. Then test whether a thin moving watercolor line can define the orb without adding another field of paint.
Pass A · alignment only
Round 05 made each whole frame roughly the same size, but a partial arc could carry a different local envelope at every angle. The new pass measures 360 angular bins and remaps only the outside band toward a 178.8px wall. The interior remains loose and a soft ten-pixel feather survives beyond the measured boundary.

Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
Four broad gestures trade a simple sky–cyan–blue field with long, unhurried recoil.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
Crown and rebound forms repeatedly settle into a low basin before lifting around the wall.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
A connected double wave turns through pale cyan while a blue breaker folds beneath it.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
The palest study: sea-glass washes overlap in thin planes with only one quiet blue weight.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
Impact and undertow gestures move laterally, giving the orb a measured shoreline pull.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
A larger blue body turns beneath a thin cyan surface, with the color mass kept intentionally spare.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
The barrel-roll study leads, but mist and sea-glass layers soften the collapse into foam-like watercolor.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
A whirlpool scoop gives the palest palette a continuous circular drift without a dark center.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
A cleaner, bluer field with a single saturated body passing through lighter cyan folds.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
Mint, cyan, and sky remain close in value so the movement reads through overlap rather than contrast.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
A pendulum bank and impact rebound make the color visibly lean, strike, and return.
Tonal ocean field
Alignment only
Quarter-turned basins make a low horizontal pulse that alternates between sky wash and open blue.

12 options
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A pale double wave holds the orb while two narrow blue currents circle its perimeter.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A light tumbling shelf meets a deep basin and one brief violet-blue crescent.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A broad pale crown opens behind a rolling indigo arc and a compressed cyan ribbon.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A transparent undertow carries a darker serpentine current in the opposite direction.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A light rebound lets a counterbalanced twilight crescent carry most of the visible weight.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A softened breaker throws one deep-cyan hook, followed by a shorter ultramarine curl.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
Two connected pale reservoirs frame a blue ribbon that visibly narrows and releases.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A pale tumbling field gives way to three compact dark eddies at measured intervals.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A nearly white crown is crossed by one concentrated orbiting tongue and a trailing perimeter ribbon.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
Figure-eight atmosphere keeps the center alive while a violet-blue S-curve rolls around it.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A restrained mist wash makes room for the deepest low basin and a brief counterbalanced accent.
Pale wash + deep current
Alignment only
A quiet sea-glass chase supports one rolling blue eyelid and one short twilight squeeze.
Pass B · generated cover pipeline
The first three generated ideas were beautiful but too wash-heavy for a definition layer. The brief tightened to sparse graphite-watercolor hairlines: incomplete contours, registration fragments, hooks, spirals, horizons, and dimples.
Each final atlas is extracted from paper, neutralized, fitted to the same 178.8px wall, and tested over one aligned Matisse lagoon hero.

Ten animated cover-line options
One aligned hero
The first five study contour behavior. The second five break the circle apart and let line motion circulate, reach inward, swing, spiral, rise, or dimple.
Cover 8.1
Promoted to registration
One broken wet contour lengthens and gently circulates around the shared wall.
Cover 8.2
Retained, not promoted
Opposed contour fragments trade darkness and length without closing the circle.
Cover 8.3
Promoted to registration
A nearly complete hairline quietly opens gaps, pools, pales, and rejoins.
Cover 8.4
Retained, not promoted
A fine wall trace sends one liquid hook inward, then draws it back into the rim.
Cover 8.5
Promoted to registration
Two close watercolor registrations part, braid, and settle into one contour.
Cover 8.6
Retained, not promoted
A short wall fragment pulls a bowed hairline inward and swings it under radial pressure.
Cover 8.7
Retained, not promoted
An incomplete rim fragment curls toward the center and unwinds back to the wall.
Cover 8.8
Promoted to registration
One bowed internal horizon rises, rotates slightly, and settles between two wall points.
Cover 8.9
Promoted to registration
Three disappearing contour stitches pass emphasis around the invisible sphere.
Cover 8.10
Promoted to registration
A single wall fragment bows inward, rebounds, and relaxes into the shared radius.
