Twilight tidewire
Cover 9.1 trades black for the darkest palette-native blue-violet stain.
Recipe · 9.1 / twilight / 32% / forward / phase 0 / stain
Round 10 · chromatic cover matrix
Six promoted registered covers keep their corrected center, wall, feather, and direct timing. Black is replaced with pigments derived from the repository ocean palette, then the covers are scored as single and layered compositions.
System
Source luminance is remapped through actual mint, cyan, sky, blue, and violet swatches, two controlled saturation overshoots, and palette-derived mineral gray. Source alpha, clumps, gaps, geometry, and timing remain intact.
Six single-cover calibrations establish the pigments. Ten recipes layer, reverse, and phase-shift two or three covers on Matisse lagoon. Four promoted structures then repeat unchanged on Abyss ribbon to prove the recipe works beyond one pale hero.

The single-layer pass asks whether each promoted registered motion wants to behave as a dark stain, a pale shell, or a saturated punctuation mark.

Cover 9.3 becomes a quiet ultramarine breath instead of a charcoal shell.

Cover 9.9 slightly overshoots the orb’s blue-violet saturation for intermittent sparks.

Decision carried into Round 11
Deep/light relay, Tidal stitches, Pressure atmosphere, Chromatic echo, and Quiet architecture become the five stable hero characters. Saturated crest is not a hero, but its rare high-chroma event remains useful magical-flare vocabulary. The source does not label the other recipes as failures.
